When to go

Austria is a year round destination.

Skiing: The winter season in general begins in the first week of December until around Easter but some of the higher glaciers can be open all year round for winter sports

Summer in the mountains: Temperatures can be warm during the day (up to 30°C) but can be cool in the evenings with quick and impressive thunderstorms on a regular basis. Lifts open May to October
