Pristine beaches, national parks & marine sanctuaries

Fiji is a very "green" destination, both literally and figuratively! Fiji’s distinctive biodiversity includes healthy marine eco-systems, cloud rainforests, beneficial mangroves and a diverse range of national parks. Wherever you are there’s likely to be a stunning national and/or marine park nearby.

National Parks such as Colo-i-Suva Forest Reserve in Suva boast lush rainforests, hiking trails, waterfalls and many panoramic views. Other National Parks include Bouma National Heritage Park on Taveuni, Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park on the Coral Coast & Koroyanitu National Heritage Park in Lautoka.

In the Marine Parks & Sanctuaries, Fiji supports many conservation projects such as turtle breeding, shark conservation and coral reef cultivation. Places like Kadavu are home to the famous Great Astrolabe Reef, where you can scuba dive with a huge diversity of marine life including manta rays, many shark species including whale sharks and at certain times of the year witness the wonders of the Humpback Whale breedinf season.
